“Very clean”
“This hotel is a great place to stay if most or all of what you’re doing there is sleeping. It would not be good if you want to spend a lot of comfortable time in a hotel room.
The room is extremely small (to be expected in Manhattan), but to the point where I’m pretty sure they had to custom order short King beds, because a good 8 inches of my legs hung off the end, which doesn’t even happen on my Queen at home.
We tried three separate times to get the front desk to send us an extra comforter, and each time, they said they’d look into it, but never delivered.
The curtains also don’t block out any light (there are blackout portions of curtain, but they are decorative side pieces only and do not meet in the middle), which is very troublesome if your room faces North, and is on a high enough floor that the white roofs surrounding the hotel reflect morning light right into your room.
The AC seemed to be leaking some water into the carpet nearby the unit, but never enough to cause a real issue.
The phone also didn’t work, but we didn’t need to use it, so that wasn’t an issue for us.
Some pros are that the shower water pressure and temperature were great, and there were enough towels and toiletries for our long (9-night) stay. Having a fridge and microwave for leftovers was also great.”
