“We have family in Staten Island, so we stayed here for the night. I am assuming this was an older hotel that was taken over and renovated by Marriott.
Every staff member we encountered was fantastic. Nice, helpful, and kept our rooms clean.
This was a smaller hotel with a small lobby and small snack shop, gym, and standard breakfast… just right for a short stay if you’re going to be out and about most of the time.
Some of the carpets need updating but for the most part, the space was neat and in “Marriott” fashion for this level in their brand.
My only problem was a strong smell on the 2nd floor. I don’t know if it was just during our stay and if it was only on the second floor but it was strong enough that it bothered me every time I entered the hallway or was near my room door. Inside the room was okay.
