“I Location, location, location. This
explains the price which is on par with the budget rooms at the Sofitel 1 block away. Needed to be close to Cedars Sinai.
It appears to be a converted apartment and feels that way
more than a hotel. The room and facilities are VERY clean with all the usual amenities, plus a hepa room filter! The bathroom was huge meant to accomodate wheelchairs and seniors. Plenty of towels plus a bachrode . The room plan was well designed given the small room. space.
The staff did their best but don’t appear to have hospitality backgrounds. They appear to be trained to work there employees, and some were very young looking and looked like they were working at a roadside motel. They
got the job done, but don’t expect expertise. Thank you staff.
Minor suggestions:
1. Replace the soup and lotion dispensers to that they pump properly.
2. An additional small hand soap would also be appreciated.
3. The coffee A.M. coffee was “not so good.” Complimentary mini muffins would help.
4. The lobby is user-friendly, but from the reception to the lobby it feels empty, so a little piped music would would really make a difference.
In summary, I recommend it, but don’t expect a high class joint. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Elan.”
“Property’s location and cleanliness was ok The staff varied from excellent to disappointing the facilities are satisfactory but a bit depressing but the offer wine and beer in the evenings to help forget abt that You get what you pay for and in LA you get a fair hotel for a fair price

“The Elan hotel is a very nice facility and very convenient to Cedars Sinai Hospital. Beware however, that there are some hidden fees that are not listed in the price. There is a charge of $36 per night per car for staying there and a $20 per night fee to the city of Beverly Hills. These were a surprise added about $160 to a two nights stay.
Also, there are no food facilities on the property.”
