“Combative female Front Desk clerk who was so incredibly rude. I had just gotten in from a meeting and wanted to see if my room was available earlier (I’d requested an earlier check in). It was not, and she responded “you have to wait until 3pm, your room isn’t ready.” Not a problem AT ALL. What I do have a problem with is the unpleasant delivery. I came back shortly after and sat in the lobby to wait for my check in. The male front desk clerk, “John” politely asked if he could help and I told him that I was told I had to wait until 3pm. He giggled, asked my name and checked the registry to immediately say my room was ready. Big difference in his approach which I was grateful for. HAMPTON INN needs to work on the front desk demeanor. I had no other issues with the hotel, it was clean and nice, but this is cause for not patronizing this establishment. It’s also happened at their North LV location on Craig Road. This is only the second time I’ve stayed at their hotels and both times I’ve encountered rude behavior. PLEASE do something about how this staff handles the front desk for it’s a REFLECTION of you and sets the tone for the rest of the visit. Second time being disappointed. :(“
“The voucher had not been sent to hotel. The hotel had to phone and it took 30 minutes to check in. Luckily I had the voucher receipt to back me up.”
