“Excellent location with a beautiful beachfront view. The only hassle was the parking. We paid additional for parking and we were assigned a parking spot but our spot was constantly being taken by other vehicles, we had to find street parking which is not easy to find. “

“I booked this trip to celebrate my daughters graduation. When booking this place had good reviews and the pictures pretty much sold the place to me. When I got there it is not what was in the pictures. My unit is independently own I guess which was number #1205 The view was beautiful but the air conditioning was awful it was rusted and moldy My daughter is now extremely sick and I am not feeling well. They’re microwave was rusted on the inside and did not heat up the food well. The bed was awful and very dirty. They put two clean sheets over a very dirty mattress. It said that there was a chair and snorkeling on the balcony. It was a rusted broken chair in a box that was very moldy with snorkeling gear and other things. I’m extremely upset and disappointed with how much money I put into this place. And now we’re going home sick. I called and reported all of this and they blamed the volcano. I’ve asked residents and I’ve asked Uber drivers about this volcano they said they know nothing about it. I think it’s very poor that they allowed us to stay in there with that condition and I was told they’re taking out the air conditionings and swapping them out next week. If they got all of these problems fixed it would be a really nice place to stay. But the fact is I put in a lot of money and hard work and I’m really upset. I took pictures of everything if there was a place for pictures I would leave it.”

“My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary on Waikiki and we wanted to stay at the less crowded end of the beach. The location was great. Lots of parks and San Souci beach has less tourist crowds. Great places to eat within walking distance. We were happy with the room but a few maintenance things would have made it feel nicer. There was water damage in the soffit above the sink in the bathroom that needs to be repaired. A few of the bathroom hooks were broken and that would be a really easy fix because it’s very nice to be able to hang up beach clothes and towels in the shower to dry. The window coverings facing west are sheer and this large window really needs additional curtains provided that can block the morning and evening light into the room. The room was a bit too bright for good sleep. Additionally at night the sheer shades do not provide enough privacy when our lights were on. Lots of other apartments looking directly into our unit and we didn’t feel like we could create adequate privacy particularly at night when we had lights on. It’s a nice unit but needs the added solid blinds for privacy and light darkening. Loved the location. Loved the grass area down below with seating and ocean sunset views. Thank you!!”

“Great views of Diamondhead and the surf. Furniture configuration could be improved upon- and would have appreciated coffee filters and a back up toilet paper roll, but those are small gripes. More importantly, on one side of the room the window does not open so the cross wind benefit of staying in this building is lost, unless you leave the front door open. Overall we loved the place and would return. “
