“Lanna wild was a sweet retreat from the city right up in the mountains. However the travel there from chiang mai definitely took awhile and is not close to any tourist spots. The views were really beautiful and food served was great, especially the welcome tea served! Upon first entrance into our room, all looked splendid, but upon closer inspection was not as clean as it looked, especially in the toilet. The bathtub had no warm water and the only area with a water heater was the shower which was quite dirty. There were quite a few bugs (roaches n beetles) as they were able to crawl in due to a few holes in the toilet area. I suppose those are to be expected as the resort is situated within the jungle. “

“The pictures don’t live up to the reality. Though we enjoyed our stay, the place is in need of upkeeping. The lights in outdoor areas were not working, shower bottles for shampoo were malfunctioning. Though it’s in woods, still a better cleaning of outdoor areas before checkin could be done. The view from restaurant is hampered by electricity wires.
The above pesky issues bothered me but besides that overall service, food and ambience is really good. “

“The place is exactly how it looks, you fall in love with it the moment you get to the lobby. The views are great, the staff is very friendly and do all they can to make you feel welcomed. The rooms we stayed in were just wonderful. Since it’s in the mountains carry your own stronger bug spray however they do provide their own. And the food is very tasty also. It was our anniversary and We fell in love with the onsens. They also provide transportation so it’s advisable to communicate with them to arrange. No good service in the mountains but great Wi-Fi all around.”
