“The location is excellent, close to the northeast corner of the old city, not far from Tha Phae Gate, and there is a bridge in front of the hotel that crosses the moat. The fruit market, Warorot Market, Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, Friday Yunnan Market, and Sunday Night Market are all within walking distance. Also, because it is close to several suburban roads, it is very convenient to explore the entire northeast/east/southeast suburbs of Chiang Mai’s old city and avoid driver’s license checkpoints near the old city. Even several important bus stations/train stations are also nearby, so you can go to farther places at a very cheap price.

After talking about the geographical advantages, the enthusiasm and patience of the staff here also impressed me. They showed me around the hostel, answered any questions I had, and introduced me to reasonable prices for nearby consumption. Every staff member was very enthusiastic, polite, and proactive in their service, making my two-day stay here very relaxing.

Finally, let me talk about the hotel facilities. The hotel may have some folk-style decoration designs, with a lot of wooden elements, giving a natural and skin-friendly feeling. The overall style feels very traditional, even a bit retro, but the facilities are actually very new.

The hotel provides drinking water and simple snacks, and it seems to offer paid meals as well. However, I left early every day and didn’t have a chance to enjoy them.

The hotel turns off the air conditioning in the afternoon, but provides fans. As someone who is very afraid of humidity and heat, I think the guest room area is quite cool with the fan on, and there is no problem taking a nap.

Once again, I am very grateful to every warm-hearted staff member at Baan Heart Thai.”

“Impressive hostel. Two Star Hostel with Five Star Service.

It’s been a moment since I last stayed at a hostel and this property is quite good. Very clean space and the towel and bed linens were fabulous.

I am definitely planning on staying again in the future. Love the firmness of the bed. Rested super well. The street can get loud at night towards the weekends due to super rowdy travelers at the nearby spots on the same street. Ear plugs might be needed.

The actual guests were super conscious to not make noise in the night. I stayed on the fourth floor that has the queen size beds. Loved the design and comfort.

Lot of ample key card security points to assure everyone safety and camera strategically placed as well to monitor the public spaces. Community sitting area inside and in the garden. Space to store food in the fridge as well.

Overall, very accommodating and friendly space with good vibes.

– bed was very comfortable with a lot of storage
– whole floor only for females – large bathroom, balcony for drying laundry, a set of hair tools to get ready, good quality shampoo and gel
– amazing backyard with places to work or chill. Also a good working area in the lobby
– not a party hostel but still sociable with very nice people
– pretty close to 7 eleven and good cafes and restaurants

The only negative is the broken locks on the storage locker and no option to put your own lock. The hostel felt very safe but keeping your valuables locked in hostels is a must.

“It is a quite nice hostel, neat and clean. The staff are calm and helpful. Bathroom is always good in use.
The bed is comfy. If the AC running colder at night and longer in the morning, it will be the best. There’s a garden and book corner for anyone who has work with you.

But the only gentle reminder is : 住客百分之九十五都是中国人/华人，可能会让你觉得到了一个华人社区。所以想要一些social或者遇到不同国家伙伴的朋友们真的不是很推荐！”

“Good location. Near Tha Phae gate. A lot of restaurants nearby. The bed is clean and comfortable. The toilets and bathrooms are not very clean because they are shared by quite a lot of people and only cleaned once a day. The only problem is that the AC in the room was turned off from 9am or 9:30am to 4pm even in super hot days. “
