“Yes, the area is shady. But it often has good hotel deals. Even in this very same building you can find another property many times better.

This listing however is the most basic of basic and whilst “cheap” yet, still not close to being worth the money.

– they don’t have a reception. They have a dude who hangs out outside and you have to ask the general building guard for him. He doesn’t speak much english or perhaps decided he doesn’t want to speak it.

– the staff (the dude) forgot to give me the room key which can happen. I took a nap and realized when I woke up. So, had to go downstairs to find him in the street outside the hotel. He then got the key and didn’t feel like saying he was sorry.

– the room I was in had no internet – DESPITE the listing saying it does. When I asked if it did, the staff said no and I could swear he giggled.

– the balcony door doesn’t lock and actually looked like it could have been broken into before. It’s not entirely unheard of that thieves jump go into hotel rooms from open balconies so in a neighborhood like this, that’s just plain silly. (that has happened to friends of mine elsewhere)

– there’s a stovetop but zero utensils. No kettle, no glasses, cups, etc

– oh, I didn’t have my room cleaned even though I was away from the room for hours around noon. And not even after I asked for it upon my return.

– the hot water didn’t work. The manager slipped and let it be known that he had known before I even checked in. He did offer to move me to another room but this was already not worth the hassle.

I’ve stayed in some really crappy places over the years. But we are talking deep in the countryside in 3rd world countries. Not in a place like this where you literally have options way, way better in the same area for the same price more or less. “

the value for money was exceptional, with affordable rate that didn’t compromised on quality, mura na sa mga nde maarte i recommend pero kung maarte humanap ng iba na mas mahal. maganda location. hinde libre ang sabon, shampoo, toothbrush at toothpaste sabi lang sa aken kase nde ako ang nagcheckin, my nephew,

“Over all naman okay sya. Mabait yung staff lahat ng request mo nagragrant.
I booked sa kanila since i need to find a place where i can stay and work at the same time. Medyo mas maliliit na ipis lang yun lang yung prob. Pero overall naman okay naman sya. Stayed there for 4 days. “

“they made us wait for an hour to check in. The unit is actually great + it has balcony but it also has too much little cockroaches. And they didn’t really clean it that much when we get it the smell of the pillow and bedshit is a nightmare.”
