“This was my first time in a capsule hotel. I thought it would be worse. The staff was excellent! And if you are tired, you can sleep almost anywhere. Everything was clean. So i think for a one night, it is okay.”
“My wife (4 months pregnant) and I stayed here in the double room for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The room was big enough to comfortably store your stuff and sleep in, and the bathroom was surprisingly large for the size of the room. My only complaint is you couldn’t open the windows in the room we got, but once we figured out the air conditioning (it was very easy and obvious we were just tired or something) it was totally fine. Some rooms do have windows that open, so if that’s a concern for you I’d recommend requesting that when you book. The staff were great. We didn’t get a chance to try the free breakfast but it looked quite nice, as the lounge on the 2nd floor was excellent. Overall very recommended if you want to stay in a super centralized part of Osaka.”
“The capsule hotel is not for everyone, but for an overnight stay it is just right. The location makes it accessible from the subway. Friendly service without all the mod cons of a conventional hotel room.”
“We stayed in the shared bathroom area, they kept clean at the all time, the room is big enough for one person, they got a storage for a small luggage under the TV set. The bed mattress seems has been used and need to get a new one, it keeps sliding down to the bed side. The hot spring water is nice. I used everyday when I stayed there. “
“I stayed three nights at Hotel Morning Box, and everything was pretty nice. The rooms are small, but they’re obviously so in the pictures. The staff was nice and spoke enough English at check in, and everything was clean. I didn’t get to check out the cafe, the lounge much, or even breakfast, since the best part about Hotel Morning Box is its short walk to the very fun Dotonbori, and the time I spent there meant less time for those things. The public bath and vending machines were nice, and each floor has shared bathrooms/lounge areas. Since it’s right down the street from Dotonbori they do let you back in after midnight but make sure you get the code, which changes daily I believe, to get back in, which can be found in the elevator. “
