“The room was a good size and comfortable. It was very clean and orderly and was well supported by very helpful staff who were available 24 hours.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, going beyond to serve.

Laundry and Dryer facilities were more than adequate. The fact that they were free was a nice surprise.

I liked the hotel because it was removed from the centre and on the quiet side. But it was also easy to get around with buses into the city and to Kyoto station. Hankyu Line is next to this hotel which makes it very convenient to move around by train.

There are 3-4 convenience stores, a pharmacy and a local supermarket nearby. The Japanese fast food chain store Nakau across the street was perfect for hot Japanese meals.

For all the above, I found the price to be very reasonable. After a 2 night stay, I chose to extend my stay at this hotel for another few more. “

“Location was close to Omiya station and bus stops, so transport is convenient. Hotel room was like new and very clean. Provision of small amenities like fresh towels, water kettle, hair dryer, and disposable slippers were all appreciated. Staff were also very pleasant and efficient , and room cleaning services or notices were easy to use. The only minor downside was the limited view outside the hotel room.”

“Stayed at Hop Inn Kyoto during the 2024 cherry blossom season. Excellent hotel to stay at due to friendly staff and cleanly facilities. Booked a twin bed with my mom and the room was surprisingly spacious for a hotel in Japan. The hotel is very conveniently located adjacent to a Lawson and is within 10 minutes walking distance to the train station and bus stations that will get you everywhere you will need to get to in Kyoto. For the price, staff, cleanliness, and convenience, I cannot recommend this place enough!”

“Station Omiya and Shin Omiya is the same.
If you are with big luggage exit 3 and exit north 5 with escalator. If you arrive with different train line you will confused on the north west east exit just point to RANDEN TRAIN_Arashiyama , this station just across the road of the hotel walk less then 5 minute .
Hotel itself is new and very clean, all japan hotel very well provided facility but this new one is with ONSEN even small but juat deep in after full day activity in the winter day is to good to be true .
Laundromat is provided.Staff understand English, 24h coffee tea machine in lobby free flow. Surely from price to all you can get I am surely recommended.”
