“We had a great overnight stay at ibis Styles. We watched a concert at Araneta and it’s literally less than a 5 min walk to the colosseum. It’s also attached directly to Gateway so food options are plenty.

The room itself was really nice and clean. Basic amenities are provided (toiletries, towels).

Only thing is though, they have a TV in the room that is basically just for display. It isn’t a smart TV so you can’t even connect it to YouTube or Netflix which is a bummer. For a modern styled hotel, I thought that would’ve been a basic thing to have.

If there is a concert though, make sure to book in advance as they do get sold out quickly. Will likely stay again here. Hopefully they upgrade those TVs.”

“Ibis to the rescue! My boyfriend and I were originally going to stay in another hotel within the Araneta complex, but due to a serious sanitary concern with our room there, we immediately left and looked for another place to stay. Thankfully, Ibis was just 2 blocks away and I’m sooooo glad we came here instead because it was everything you could ask for a hotel and more! In spite booking at the last minute, literally, we were able to secure a room so quick and easily, and best of all, the published rate on Agoda was pretty good. The hotel is so clean, comfy, and chic. I love the modern decor and it’s such a bonus that the hotel is annexed to Gateway Mall. It made our lives so much easier. All the staff we’ve encountered were so congenial and helpful, too, and assisted us easily every time we asked for help. We weren’t able to avail of their culinary offerings though, but we are so excited to come back and check it out on our next trip to Manila, hopefully! “

“I love going to concerts and K-drama actors’ fanmeets and they’re often in Araneta Coliseum or New Frontier Theater. The fact that iBis Styles is located in Gateway Mall 2, that’s a super plus point! It’s very modern in terms of the aesthetics. My friend and I weren’t able to explore the hotel though because we went back almost midnight from a concert and had to check out early the next morning. I just hope they’ll provide bedroom slippers, a box of facial tissue, and bottled water (some people don’t like getting water from public dispensers). Also, the only problem I noticed is the water leak in the comfort room. Other than that, I like everything else. I really recommend this hotel to fangirls like me!”

“We stayed at Ibis in Japan and almost immediately after we came home, we saw that the Manila branch is under construction and will be linked to a mall where we constantly go to which was a pleasant surprise. we looked forward to its opening and staying there. Loved the idea that going to church and mall is as simple as pressing a floor in the elevator. Breakfast is always a treat. Gym is well-equipped and available 24/7. Everything looks new and modern and fresh and hope that will all be well-maintained. It’s the room itself that could use a few more fixtures like hooks for towels and clothes. Sink placement was interesting but was able to work with it. Housekeeping was always on top of daily cleaning. Staff always friendly and helpful. Save for a few minor room issues, we’re glad that all the anticipation in its opening was worth it and will definitely stay again.”
