Bohol H Resort – The Coral Cliff reviews

“If you are seeking tranquility, this destination is ideal for you, as it is secluded from the urban hustle and bustle. Situated on an island, it requires a considerable commute. My visit coincided with the off-peak season, resulting in a sparsely populated environment. The premises were impeccably clean, and the staff exhibited a commendable level of friendliness and assistance. My accommodations were both cozy and soothing, with the air conditioning functioning exceptionally well. Additionally, the culinary offerings were quite delectable. However, I was somewhat disappointed that, unlike most upscale resorts that typically provide a buffet breakfast, the options available were rather limited given the price point.

There were a few aspects that presented inconveniences during my stay, particularly regarding the WiFi. It was not centralized, necessitating different passwords for various areas, and there was no WiFi access in the hallways or alleys. Furthermore, making phone calls proved challenging due to an unreliable signal that was often slow or completely absent. While the room was aesthetically pleasing and offered a high level of comfort, I did find the absence of a full-length mirror to be a notable oversight, especially since the sliding doors of the closet could have effectively served that purpose.

The resort does not feature a sandy beach, but rather a cliff; nonetheless, access to the clear waters is well-designed. Additionally, there is a pool for added convenience.

“Resort is rather new!! Off the island of Bohol quite a ways! Food wasn’t as good as we thought it should have been. Low number of registered guest. But for a quiet getaway it’s perfect!! “

“I experienced only one issue which was a fee for a laundry request. I asked if they could do laundry, they said “yes, we’ll come collect it, no problem”. I assumed it was free since they did not ask, inform, or have me sign anything, not a word. Then at check out, it was insisted by staff that I pay a fee of over 2,500 pesos to have some very basic clothes washed. They also pressed them without my consent and charged me for that too. Excessively disappointing. For this reason I wont be back, which is sad because I will be going back to Bohol very soon. Please continue reading for the review of everything else.

I stayed at H resort for 7 nights. It is a very clean, safe, well maintained, and peaceful resort with very friendly staff who smiled and said good morning and were eager to assist. Coupled with a rental car I think it is an ideal stay in Bohol. I do recommend it.”
