“Great stay and courteous staff.
One little observation, depending on the season and your temperature requirements, rooms 44-46 are connected to a corridor that is rather warm. The spa areas is adjacent to the corridor, and I can only assume that the heat from the saunas and steam rooms is being transferred to the corridor and rooms.”

“We spent a night here to celebrate our engagement and had an amazing time. The views of the area are amazing. The room was lovely and the bed was so cozy. The staff were very accommodating and even walked us to our room and helped us with our bags. Breakfast buffet in the morning was a lovely full Scottish. “

One night only as we had to attend a funeral next day. All staff very pleasant and helpful all had smiling faces , and yes we would go again. Magnificent entrance to the Hall. Our room was very big had 3 rooms and large windows, and fabulous view. BnB £125.. for one night, marvellous.”

“Had a lovely two night stay in the hotel. All the staff were all very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. From the reception to bar staff to housekeeping. The pool was really warm it’s a shame the jacuzzi and sauna weren’t in use through refurbishment but it didn’t spoil our stay just would have been nice to use these facilities. The breakfast was delicious with a huge selection to choose from everything was incredibly fresh and the view from the restaurant was incredible. The hotel was busy both nights as it was a weekend but you never felt it was as it is so big with plenty of places to sit. There were all age ranges there but mostly younger couples to my surprise. We never had afternoon tea but seen a couple enjoy theirs and it looked fresh and delicious. I’d recommend here highly and will be happy to return in the future “

“a beautiful castle on a hill, authentic including furniture and decoration. Unfortunately they save on small but necessary things in the bathroom. Shower gel in minimal quantities, the rest such as cotton pads, shower cap, cotton swabs, etc. were not there at all. Our luggage did not arrive and this minimal set would have been useful. Cleaning is not done during the stay. Only make up .”
