“If you are looking for a relaxing weekend away, this could be the place. The grounds are very well kept. The rooms are clean with mini kitchen with appliances including a blender and dishwasher! The pool is nice as well even though a reservation is required in advance. This is so every three hours all the lounge chairs are sanitized. The food is good at the grill with a nice patio to eat outside and watch golfers. Sometimes the items on the menu aren’t available or there is an event going on so flexibility is key. We didn’t golf but enjoyed watching others play. There is a nice tennis court and children’s playground with checkers and corn hole available. So for the price this is a place to consider. Would stay again! “

“The studio we stayed in was the basic studio with one king bed. We enjoyed the ability to make our own breakfast and to also do laundry before flying back home. Although not spotless the room was clean and quiet at night, the bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony to sit and have coffee on in the morning. The pool area was also very nice. Only real disappointment was the view from the balcony, I was expecting more than just looking at trees and a bit of grass. Btw, if you have 20 minutes, its a must to drive up to Dobbins Lookout on South Mountain. Just make sure to be though the park gate by 7PM and then stay as long as you want. The views are spectacular!”

“The Legacy Golf Resort has quiet, clean and comfortable suites on a nice expansive property. While housecleaning services aren’t provided during the stay, the room was well-stocked with toiletries, coffee and laundry detergent (it has an in-suite washer/dryer), with no issues getting more supplies when requested. The bed was comfortable and the patio had a nice view of the greens. Great stay for relaxing by the pool and playing 18 holes.”

“I would definitely recommend this resort with reservations. I did not realize there was going to be a sales pitch when I chose Legacy. I chose it because it was NOT in the city proper and was about 12 mins from my daughter’s house, both things that were important to me. The sales pitch was a downer, and we did not go to the official sales meeting. The other negative was the thin walls. We could hear every word our neighbors said which we did not expect when we saw how nice the rooms were. I did see that complaint from other reviewers, but I thought – how bad can it be? Well, if the party next to you are active at midnight, and you aren’t, it’s really annoying. Aside from those two issues, the resort has a nice pool and well manicured grounds. Our room had a small galley kitchen (which lights up the bedroom area at night) , a sitting area, and a balcony. The bar is not not as well stocked as you would expect at a resort this size, but we only had drinks there once. Recommend with reservations. “
