“Waited for an hour for their shuttle in LAX airport going to Hyatt Place. Then shuttle just passed by. Ended up having uber. We are 4 in the family carrying 5 luggages + 2 car seats. So that situation was so frustrating carrying stuffs moving from one place to another. Reported the complaint to reception. Nil action done. “

“Overall, we had an almost pleasant and basic stay just to get us through the night before our flight the next day. Did not use the airport shuttle so no comment.

PROS: ▪️Clean modern room ▪️Breakfast included ▪️Rooms are nearly soundproof (can hear the sound of planes but able to sleep through) ▪️Nice and spacious bathroom with tub ▪️ Coffee and tea facilities in the room ▪️Quiet room heating ▪️Impressive lift

CONS: ▪️Arrived at 2.50pm and front desk said to give him a “couple of minutes” to verify that our room was ready but a “couple of minutes” turned into 50 minutes standing by at the lobby without any updates until we kept asking even though we were in his plain view.▪️Breakfast was uncomfortably crowded and understaffed. ▪️Irked by several ”Everyman for himself guests” clearing out whole trays of food into their takeaway boxes (each guest taking 3 huge boxes). ▪️Walkway from parking building to the hotel building is unsheltered. Parking fee is $44. ▪️ No drop-off lobby. ▪️No clear instructions on how to access parking the first time prior to check-in. So, I’m sharing some helpful tip here. You can use your credit card to enter (you won’t be charged) At check-in, ask for a parking ticket with a code that you will use to exit and re-enter during your stay.

Recommended: mimosa from the bar.”
