“후버댐롯지 정말 좋았다”

“금요일 투숙이라 다소 비싸게 예약했지만 라스베가스보다 저렴합니다. 방은 넓고 조용하고 깨끗하지만 다소 오래된 편입니다. 후버댐에 가깝기 때문에 투숙 후 후버댐을 둘러보고 킹맨에서 점심 식사를 한 다음 그랜드캐년으로 출발하시면 좋습니다.”

“I generally like a lodge type hotel/resort however Agoda site didn’t say “& casino”. I have no problem with gambling or casinos but, as in many cases with casinos, this is a smoking facility. You can get non smoking rooms but all public areas are smoking. The room did not smell of smoke which was good. Maybe the rooms are all non smoking because, atleast the wing we were in, there wasn’t even a hint of smoke once you got on the one working elevator from the lobby.

Also, because this is a casino it’s not particularly kid friendly. Second hand smoke aside, of the many resturant options, there is only one that doesn’t have slots or something similar in it, so there is only one resturant kids can eat in and it closes at 8pm. There are not a lot of immediate food options around the lodge. Also, the pool looks pretty but is ice cold and there’s just not much there for kids. Even the TV channel selection was poor and wifi kept disconnecting.

Location wise, it’s great with proximity to the dam, lake mead and Las vegas. The free parking and no resort fee is great.

Rooms was a good size. I think we got a standard 2 queen room. Bed is decently comfy. I would have liked more than 1 super flat pillow and one medium lumpy pillow. The view wasn’t bad but it ovelooked part of another building. Im ok with that. The doors are heavy and they slam when shut even if you try to shut it quietly.

I really had high hopes and wanted tk like this place when i pulled in.The price per night was good and the staff were great. The overall appearance of the inside and outside are pleasing.

I wouldn’t stay here again because I travel with my minor daughter. Its just not kid or family friendly because of the above mentioned stuff. Even if traveling with another adult I probably wouldn’t because at the end of the day, after sight seeing, if you don’t like to smoke and gamble this is rather boring place.

The room is lovely and the staff nice so a 1-2 night stay isn’t probably going to be horrible for you especially if you know what I mentioned above and you weren’t surprised.”

“The entrance was lovely to the entrance with a stone fireplace and comfortable sitting areas and coffee tables similar to a living room. The staff was incredible no matter where or what their position was. My only complaint was the food could be much better. Outside of that it was great and we are already planning another trip to stay there in the fall. The casino was fun and actually, paid out enough to keep you entertained for some time. Its a quiet atmosphere but perfect for a getaway without all the hussle and bussle. I can’t say enough about the staff there, outstanding.”
