” The owners description on Agoda clearly stated I would be booking and paying for a 40 square meter, or more than 400 square foot unit. The unit I was given was only 28 square meters, or a little over 300 square feet. I made this booking mostly based on wanting the larger size, and feel cheated. Be warned that you could be dealing with a dishonest and unethical owner if you book this unit, Unit 2.
Numerous other problems with this unit. Cons:
Loose entry door handle and lock, causing security concerns. Failing interior finish and paint in numerous places throughout the unit. Non functional remote control forTV. (Remote control for digital programming worked ok) Toilet leaking water from both the bidet hose and behind the toilet, making for a perpetually wet bathroom floor. Only one fitted bottom sheet provided for the entire unit, calling into question the cleanliness of the other sleeping pads and blankets. Overall, quite a depressing and inspiring unit. Clearly this owner is putting his or her personal profit ahead of the comfort and satisfaction of the guests, and his other own personal integrity.
Pros: Great location on a quiet and peaceful street, yet only a little over 1 km to SM and Session Rd. Great security to enter the building, with the guards helpful and very attentive to their duty. The main bed, despite being only a small double bed and having only a bottom fitted sheet, was fairly comfortable with a flat and fairly firm foam mattress.”
