Stayed here for five nights in February 2023. Overall an unimpeachably lovely experience. Leaving a long review with lots of pictures because the resort seems to have reposted themselves afresh on Maps and as a result there’s a lot of info missing i would’ve liked to have had.

Pros:

1. Amazing room. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow with a veranda (room B2). The room was comfortably appointed with decent bed, high-quality linens, a mini fridge, a complimentary selection of coffee/tea/bottled water, a very spacious Western-style bathroom (with delectable eucalyptus-scented toiletries), a TV (channels didn’t work, but you could bring a Chromecast?) and a day bed. The covered veranda at the front of the bungalow had both dedicated plastic beach loungers and sitting chairs with a table; this a very comfortable way to be “on” the beach without having to get up early to claim your space. The room had electricity constantly, including powerful AC you could run all day or night as you please, and the wifi is pretty solid. (There is also 4G coverage along the beach.)

2. When we first arrived, we thought the resort was cash only — but it’s not! This wasn’t disclosed proactively, but we figured out you can charge things like excursions and restaurant purchases to your room and pay by credit card on check out. Things on the island are relatively pricey, so this was a big relief as we had worried at one point we didn’t bring enough baht with us.

3. The restaurant is somewhere between very good and excellent. The actual dining space is next to the beach, with a variety of spaces in the shade and in the sun depending on the time of day. For breakfast, everyone gets the free buffet that featured drip coffee/tea/juice, a selection of fruit, toast and jams, some tasty Thai dishes (including one or two with seafood!), Western breakfast meats (fried ham and some ‘sausages’ aka boiled hotdogs), and a rotating selection of either pancakes, French toast or crepes. “Beautiful setting right on the beach, although at high tide the water comes right up to the resort’s walls, causing some erosion.

Breakfast is fine, although the regular drinks menu is a little pricey compared to other resorts on Koh Ngai. The rooms are very comfortable but maybe some extra wall sockets would be appreciated by most guests.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Fresh fruits, salad, bread, pancakes and some pastries. You can order rice porridge, fried rice and eggs. Dinner was delicious. I will definitely come back here. Thank you for making my vacation so special.”

“The only good thing about this place is very helpfull staff and af course location. The bungalows are old, no renovation for a long time, mosquitoe net uncomfortable to use, constantly rubbing on your face, wild animals running very loudly inside the walls during the night in both bungalows we stayed in, the beds very hard. Food in the restaurant mediocre at best. “
